What we check

Every hour a scheduled job requests each part once (twice if the first try fails) and writes the result to status.json. It sends plain requests with an honest User-Agent and reads only public files.

• Page reader. The scan runs in your browser, but a browser can't read another site's homepage. A page reader fetches the homepage you enter and returns the tag IDs on it.
• Google Tag Manager containers. The public gtm.js file every visitor downloads. The Leak Score is computed from it.
• Peer benchmarks. The study numbers behind "more junk conversions than N% of sites". If this is down, the scan still works without the comparison.
• Card checkout. The Stripe pages for the Teardown, Watch and the Agency plan.

If the page reader or Google Tag Manager is down, the instant scan can't finish. Email the domain to hello@fireshift.ai and we run the scan for you.
