About Fireshift
Fireshift is a small company in Amsterdam. We read the tags a website sends to every visitor's browser and tell you which Google Ads conversions and GA4 key events count something other than funnel progress. We read public files only. We don't install anything on your site, we don't log in, and we never submit a form on a site we scan.
What we do
Most ad accounts count things as conversions that aren't progress: a page view, a login, a button click, a trial ending, a tag that fires on every page load. Smart Bidding then learns to buy more of those. You can see much of this from outside, because the Google Tag Manager container that sets it up is a public file every visitor downloads. We read it, sort every conversion trigger by fixed rules, and show you what we found, with the date we saw it.

Who we are
A small team of growth and analytics practitioners who have run paid acquisition and owned the tracking behind it. We built the scanner and ran the studies. AI agents do a large part of our research, writing and building; how we use AI says exactly where, and what we check.
We publish as a company, not under personal names. A finding should stand on its method and its data, so we publish both: how the scan and the studies work, and a log of every number we got wrong. We don't use made-up author names or stock-photo staff.

How we make money
From customers who pay for a report, for monitoring or for a fix. That is all of it.
- Teardown: a one-time report of your site against up to six competitors. If it finds nothing worth fixing, you don't pay.
- Watch: a yearly subscription per site: a daily scan and an alert when tracking changes.
- Agency plan: a yearly plan for agencies, 10 sites, white-label.
- Fix Sprint: a fixed-price cleanup in 5 working days. You pay 50% to start. You pay the other 50% only when our after-scan shows the flagged issues fixed.
List prices are on the pricing page. No ads on this site, no affiliate links, no paid placements in our guides or comparisons.
What we will never do
- Submit a form, sign up, log in or request a demo on a site we scan.
- Hide that our scanner is automated or work around bot protection. If a site blocks headless browsers, the report says so.
- Install anything on your site for a scan. Only the Fix Sprint works inside your accounts, with access you give and can take back.
- Sell or rent your data. This site runs no analytics, no ad pixels and no cookies.
- Publish findings about a named site without its agreement, or pass one company's findings to another.
- Tell you how much money you are wasting. Whether a conversion is primary or secondary lives in your Google Ads account, and we can't see it from outside. We say so in every report.
- Invent people, reviews or quotes.
